It is our brand, born in Bondi in 2015. The idea of 2 friends - 2 busy mums of 3 each. The first product we have created is the one we have been looking for...for years ...for a decade to be precise.

Our first product is a natural, rinse free, Baby Bum Care Liniment. Not a lotion, not a balm, not a foaming wash. Better. But stay put, we have more ideas to mix French and Aussie lifestyles. 

Petit Kiddo Baby Bum Care Liniment is an Australian version of the time honoured French Liniment Oleo-calcaire ( don’t worry even the French born speaking people can’t pronounce it at the first time). A traditional, natural and environment friendly way of cleaning your babies’ bum, olive oil based.

It's a cleanser specifically adapted to nappy area.

Liniment Oleo-calcaire is daily used in childcare centres, in maternity wards and by French parents to clean their  kiddos’ bum. It is an alternative to industrial wipes. It cleanses, moisturises and leaves a protective barrier. It isolates the skin from the acidity of urine which can cause irritation in between nappy changes.

Use it generously, as you would use wipes.

The base of the magic of the Liniment Oleo-calcaire is a mix of an oil (traditionally Olive) and Limewater (also known as Calcium Hydroxyde solution).

Certified Organic Olive Oil moisturises the skin and leaves a protective barrier until the next nappy change.

Limewater is a natural antifungal and antiseptic, it fights acidity in urine and balances the skin’s natural pH.

Bentonite Clay, also known as Montmorillonite clay, helps to two main ingredients to bind together and stay stable. Most of all, it is one of the most effective and powerful healing clays.

Our product is fragrance free, nothing is added. However, one of the main ingredient being a certified organic olive oil, you will undoubtedly identify its natural odour/ smell. 

Yes, you can. However, as it is very unlikely that any other part of your body will be hidden in a nappy with recurring acid wee, you don’t need the barrier effect and it is recommended to rinse it with warm water, or a floral hydrosol.

Our product is oil based, if you have a stubborn stain on your changing mat protector or clothes, we recommend you apply a bit of dishwashing liquid before putting it in the washing machine.

To avoid the separation of the main ingredients, the formula is enriched with a natural stabiliser (Bentonite Clay), but it is always better to shake it before use, to give it a fresh whizz…

Shake the bottle

One squirt on a cotton pad or washcloth

Gently clean the soiled area, repeat as needed.

No rinse required

Put a clean nappy on

A bottle lasts approximately 70 to 100 changes.
